The purpose of the KidzFirst Ambassadors Program is to provide support to the Board of Directors, promote the vision and mission of KidzFirst Canada, and to cultivate the next generation of volunteers/partners for KidzFirst Canada. This group will consist of individuals with unique backgrounds and experiences that will help drive KidzFirst Canada’s endeavours and help further our reach within the community.
Elizabeth's background is in the Entertainment industry as a radio personality, writer and producer of the Morning Drive on CFUN which took on subjects of parenting styles and relationships; she is also an actress for American and Canadian productions. Having worked in event planning for the Campoverde Social Club bringing artists, musicians and the community together, she believes in the spirit of working as a community to make the lower mainland a better place to live for everyone. Currently Elizabeth is in her 4th year of studies in the Bachelor of Communications program at Capilano University and graduated in 2015 from Langara College with a degree in English and another in Social Sciences (Cultural Anthropology and Sociology). In the past Elizabeth worked with children where she was an employee of West Side Family Place in Kitsilano, and ran a home licensed day care, while at the same time caring for her son as a single mother. Elizabeth believes that children are the future in our city and that all children should have access to learning skills that will aide in their development to become confident and productive leaders as adults.
Keith was born in the interior of BC but spent a large portion of his life and schooling on Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley.It was there he discovered his passion for music and got his first job working in the kitchen of a small family owned and operated restaurant .He spent many years playing music of various styles on various instruments but ultimately committed to playing the bass when he moved to Vancouver in 2001 and joined a long lasting project with singer/songwriter Scott Valentine. Since then, Keith has worked in many different capacities in the restaurant industry including running the beverage program at the Bluewater Cafe from 2008 to 2013. Keith currently works as Brand Ambassador for Glenlivet across Western Canada, an exciting and dynamic position that keeps him moving throughout the country and meeting great people everywhere he travels.
Kehli is a local Vancouver actress who lived and worked in Los Angeles, California for many years where she began volunteering in animal rescue. After returning home to Canada in 2012 she continues to be a strong animal advocate as well as serving as a mentor in the acting community for the Fulfilling Young Artists program.
